A FRENCH BRONZE INKWELL AS A POODLE DOG, 19TH CENTURY - A finely sculpted animalier bronze inkwell set as a poodle with delicately worked hair and expressive facial features. The main well is kept under a hinged lid appearing as the top of the dog's head, the other two being hidden within the pompoms or nuts on the collar, both of which are also hinged.
