A RARE NAZI GERMAN SILVER SET OF FOUR HERMANN GÖRING COAT OF ARMS GOBLETS AND A PITCHER, CIRCA 1935–1940 - A historically significant five-piece silver drinking service comprising a bulbous, hand-raised silver pitcher with a hinged lid and four matching goblets. Part of a larger service, with other items from this service being featured in this catalogue. Each vessel is adorned with an engraved heraldic shield featuring a mailed fist holding a ring within a crested helmet, framed by elaborate foliate mantling, the personal coat of arms of Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (1893–1946). The pitcher bears the same device prominently engraved on the interior of the lid. Hallmarks: ”HAND ARBEIT” (Handcrafted), ”835” Silver purity mark, ”WB”, serial numbers: 76085 / 76086.
