AN IMPERIAL GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN M1915 JÄGER ENLISTED SHAKO - A Prussian Jäger Shako (also called Tschako), worn by light infantry units (Jägers) and certain specialized troops in the Imperial German Army. Helmet Type: Preußen Jäger Tschako (Prussian Jäger shako). Model 1895 or Model 1915, worn up through WWI. The front plate features the Prussian eagle with FR and motto ”MIT GOTT FÜR KÖNIG UND VATERLAND” indicating standard Prussian military allegiance. The kokarde: white/black Prussian cockade, typical for enlisted men. Original leather liner in good condition. Please make all inquiries before bidding. All lots are sold ”as-is”, refer to our T&C.
