AN ETCHED STEEL SHIELD IN THE RENAISSANCE STYLE, 19TH CENTURY - Victorian Era Renaissance style etched steel (target) shield. The shield was made in the late 19th century. It is of convex circular form with a central peak. The rim has a pronounced round edge. This shield could have been made by the workshop of Ernst Schmidt as it looks very similar to his line of Medieval armor. Possibly Germany - Victorian Era Please make all inquiries before bidding.
