A SOUTH ITALIAN HUNTING DAGGER WITH CARVED HORN GRIP, 19TH C. - A finely crafted hunting dagger from the South of Italy with a pointy, triangular blade, the forte and half of the flattened spine nicely chased with naturalistic motifs and two standing hounds, the grip of beautiful alternating bands of light and dark horn, kept within a sort of cage of steel and chased brass.
