A CENTRAL ASIAN KHANJAR DAGGER WITH A WOOTZ BLADE, 19TH CENTURY - A simplistically beautiful kanjar dagger. The curved blade is very clean and has a mid-rib running from the hilt to the tip. The hilt itself is wooden, adorned with four silver buttons bearing various ornamentation including an Arabic script on one, and a double-headed eagle over the initials 'BC' on another. The scabbard is of tooled leather around a wooden core. The tip of the scabbard is decorated with a large wooden pommel. Caucasia, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
