AN UNUSUAL CAUCASIAN DAGGER WITH AN ENGRAVED STEEL GRIP, 19TH C. - A Caucasian kindjal dagger unusual in style because of its hilt, made entirely of florally engraved steel set with roundels with gilding similar to Indo-Persian koftgari work. The piece is kept within a leather wrapped scabbard with iron mounts similarly gilt to the roundels. Caucasus, 19th Century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
