AN UNUSUAL INDO-PERSIAN KNIFE WITH CONTAINER HANDLE GOLD KOFTGARI DECORATION - An Indo-Persian dagger with an unusual hollow grip and hollow blade which appears to have acted as a sheath for a smaller internal knife. The grip and the spine are both decorated in brilliant gold damascene in intricate floral patterning. The pommel is shaped as a sheep's head and acts as a lid for the container.
