A FINE GOLD-INLAID WOOTZ STEEL KATAR PUSH DAGGER, INDIA, 19TH C. - A fine gold-inlaid katar dagger with a tapering triangular blade of wootz steel with four angled fullers pointing towards the tip. The Handle is of the characteristic 'H' shape and is decorated with brightly shining gold damascene in foliate patterns across most of its surface.
