This striking abstract composition by Italian-American painter Rinaldo Paluzzi (1927–2013) features a dynamic, architectonic arrangement of bold linear structures in deep blue, red, and black set against a textured golden ground. Paluzzi, known for his work in abstract expressionism and geometric abstraction, here demonstrates his interest in spatial balance, tension, and energy through an intricate layering of interwoven lines and forms. Footnote: Paluzzi studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and later became active in the United States, where his work was exhibited in numerous galleries.
