A CHINESE ROSE MEDALLION OPENWORK BOWL AND DISH, QING DYNASTY - A CHINESE ROSE MEDALLION OPENWORK BOWL AND DISH China, Qing Dynasty, 19th century The bowl of an oval form with flared rim and reticulated sides, enamelled in famille rose enamels with brightly painted latticework in iron red, yellow, green, and blue. The reserves are finely decorated with alternating cartouches of court figures in pavilions and birds among peony blooms, encircled by foliate scrollwork. The matching oval undertray with pierced rim and similar decoration. Provenance: Private collection, United States. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
