A FRENCH BRONZE, WOMAN CARRYING AN OIL LAMP, AUGUSTE JOSEPH PEIFFER (1832-1886), 19TH CENTURY - A finely sculpted bronze of a young woman in flowing classical dress leaning against the support as she holds an oil lamp in her right hand. The bronze was composed by the French sculptor Auguste Joseph Peiffer (1832-1886) and is signed by him at the base of the support. Paris, France, 19th century.
