A LARGE GILT-BRONZE MOUNTED FIGURE WITH A CARVED FACE - This mounted figure with a carved head strongly resembles the genre of ”Rearing Horse and Mounted Warrior”, a type of bronze statuette that depicts a rider atop a rearing horse. These pieces are often loosely attributed to the Viennese bronze foundry tradition.
