A SILVERED BRONZE RELIGIOUS SCULPTURE, MADONNA & CHILD, 19TH CEN. - A silvered bronze figurine of Mary and the Christ Child, both wearing crowns topped with crosses, the Dove of the Holy Spirit resting in Mary's right hand as Jesus caresses it. The base of the figure is marked 'Daubree', probably Alfred Daubree, a French sculptor active in the 19th century. The figure is kept atop a faceted plinth of alabaster. France, circa 19th century.
