A RARE EUROPEAN ORIENTALIST SILVERED BRONZE PLANTER, GIRL PUSHING A CART, 19TH CENTURY - A large bronze figural sculpture of a woman in Eastern inspired dress, pushing a wheeled handcart with baroque style ornamentation and an elegant, crenelated canopy draped across four posts. The inside of the cart holding a brass basket to allow for holding plants or trinkets. The base modeled as a dirt road with small plants adorning the edges of the track. Condition: Very good, with only light surface staining to a couple places which could be easily cleaned. One screw lacking from cart, does not impact appearance.
