A PAIR OF FRENCH RED MARBLE URNS IN GILT BRONZE MOUNTS, 19TH CENTURY - A pair of French urns with red marble bodies, each sat atop three bronze legs, a conical, fluted finial of marble emanating from the underside of each urn. Each urn mounted with bands of gilt bronze with delicate repousse ornamentation. The lids affixed with curved handles and attached with a threaded bolt. The pair are stylistically consistent with examples from the Barbedienne foundry, but no marks appear to be present. France, 19th century. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
