A SEVRES BISQUE PORCELAIN BUST OF CHARLES V, HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR, 1893 - A bisque porcelain bust of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V by the famed Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres in France. The emperor depicted here in highly decorative plate armor with floral motifs throughout, a feathered cap sat atop his head. The underside is marked with the 'Dores a Sèvres' stamp with the '93' date code for gilding, and the 'S. 91' date code for the porcelain itself. France, 19th century.
