A RUSSIAN SILVER TEAGLASS HOLDER, MOSCOW, 19TH CENTURY - A cylindrical tea glass holder with a flat handle featuring a notch along the upper edge; the upper rim is decorated with a scaly ornamental frieze. There are hallmarks at the base of the handle and on the bottom: the assay mark “84 with a head in a kokoshnik facing right” in an oval shield and the maker’s mark “AK” in Cyrillic in a rectangular shield.
