A RUSSIAN OPENWORK SILVER TEAGLASS HOLDER IN NEO-RUSSIAN STYLE, 1878 - A cylindrical tea glass holder on a ring-shaped base, featuring a rounded handle with a thumb rest, decorated with an openwork floral and geometric pattern. A monogram is engraved on the thumb rest. Silver, openwork, engraving, repoussé. The body of the glass holder near the upper rim, the inside of the handle, and the base bear the following hallmarks: the assayer’s mark “А.К 1878,” assay mark 84, and St. George the Victorious within engraved shields, as well as the maker’s mark in Cyrillic “ИК.” Weight: 3.5 oz., (99 g.)
