A RUSSIAN SILVER TEAGLASS HOLDER WITH OPENWORK FLORAL DESIGN, 19TH CENTURY - A cylindrical tea glass holder with a rocaille handle and a carved upper rim, decorated with a central ornamental cartouche and an openwork floral design. Silver, repoussé, engraving, and chasing. The body of the coaster, the handle, and the base bear the following hallmarks: a hallmark 84 with a head in a kokoshnik facing left on an oval shield, a hallmark of a head in a kokoshnik facing left, and the maker’s mark in Cyrillic, “ИЛ.” Weight: 4.0 oz., (113 g) Dimensions: H: 3 1/2 in., (8.9 cm.)
