AN 1827 RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER TEA GLASS HOLDER WITH ENGLISH INSCRIPTION - A Russian parcel-gilt silver tea glass holder with engraved loop patterns around the rim. The underside engraved with the commemoration inscription '11th December 1826'. Monogrammed with the initials 'JW'. Hallmarks: 'M.K.' assayer's mark over 1827 date, 84 silver proof, Combined Latin and Cyrillic 'W Shch F' mark, St Petersburg anchor mark. Weight: 3.2 oz., (90 g.) Dimensions: H: 2 1/2 in., (6.4 cm.)
