A RUSSIAN CUT-GLASS AND PARCEL-GILT SILVER TEA CADDY BY MOROZOV, 19 C. - The body is cut in an elaborate, geometric pattern (Russian cut). The silver lid is decorated with a design forming a breast order star-like shape. The central cartouche is monogrammed with intertwined ”Z.L” script Cyrillic letters. Hallmarks: V Morosov, Double-Headed Imperial Eagle for supplier to the Russian Court, Kokoshnik, Undeciphered mark to center, Cyrillic letters 'MG', 84 silver proof, Kokoshnik. Total weight: 31.5 oz., (892 g.) Dimensions: H: 6 in., (15.2 cm.) Conditions: Good condition. Normal wear and traces of use, consistent with age.
