A RUSSIAN SILVER SHOT CUP IN THE ART NOUVEAU STYLE, WORKSHOP OF PETR ABROSIMOV, MOSCOW, EARLY 20TH CENTURY - Of slightly tapering conical form, the body decorated on one side with an asymmetrical engraved floral composition in the Art Nouveau style. Within the design is a commemorative inscription reading ”Tamara”. Hallmarks: 84 silver standard with kokoshnik facing left and assay master’s initials, and maker’s mark ”ПА” in Cyrillic in a rectangular cartouche for Petr Abrosimov, Moscow. Weight: 1.4 oz. (42 g.) Height: 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) Petr Evstratovich Abrosimov, merchant and owner of a silverware factory founded in 1869, active 1869–1908, Moscow.
