A LOT OF RUSSIAN SILVER ITEMS, SALT CELLARS AND PEPPER SHAKERS, MOSCOW, 1896 - Comprising a pair of open salt cellars of rounded form raised on three ball feet, joined by a central twisted handle with ring finial, together with a separate circular salt cellar on three ball feet with a continuous engraved foliate frieze. The surfaces are decorated with engraved geometric and stylized foliate ornament characteristic of late Imperial Russian decorative silver. Hallmarks: MAker's mark: ”LG” in Cyrillic, Moscow assay mark ”O.S” with St. George, 84 silver standard, dated 1896. Total weight: 3.4 oz., (96 g.) Dimensions: H: 4 1/4 in., (10.8 cm.)
