AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER CREAMER - An parcel-gilt silver creamer from early 19th century Imperial Russia, produced in the year 1816. The belly of the creamer is decorated with a foliate-patterned band, the inside with a bright parcel-gilt finish. A squared off handle is affixed to the rear. Hallmarks: 'MK' assayer's mark over 1816 date mark, St George Moscow mark, 84 silver proof, 'VI' mark. Weight: 7.4 oz., (208 g.) Dimensions: H: 3 3/4 in., (9.5 cm.)
