A RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER CREAMER IN NEO-RUSSIAN STYLE, WORKSHOP OF MIKHAIL GOLOSHCHAPOV, C. EARLY 1900 - A cone-shaped creamer on a ring base, with a smooth S-shaped handle; the body is decorated with an asymmetrical geometric-floral pattern that forms a medallion on one side, with gilding inside. There are hallmarks near the spout, on the handle, and on the base: a hallmark in an oval shield reading “84” with a head in a kokoshnik on the left and letters, including the initials IL (Moscow District Assay Office, District Director Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin, appointed in 1899) and the maker’s mark in Cyrillic in an oval shield reading “M.G.” [Mikhail Goloshchapov].
