A MID-19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER CREAMER WITH WOOD HANDLE - A Russian silver creamer produced in 1848, affixed with a curved wooden handle, its belly of a generally squared form with rounded lobes protruding. Sat atop a molded foot via a slender stem. Hallmarks: 'AK' assayer's mark over 1848 date mark, 84 silver proof, 'AA' mark, St George Moscow mark, two scratched characters which we could not identify.
