A RUSSIAN SILVER SPIRIT WARMER WITH PAN AND STAND, BY IGNATIY SAZIKOV, ST. PETERSBURG, 1874 - In the form of a small lidded saucepan with a turned bone handle and finial, raised on a separate three-footed spirit stand with circular burner support. The body plain and cylindrical with a slightly everted rim, the domed lid engraved with a monogram beneath the knop. The interior gilt. Hallmarks: maker’s mark ”САЗИКОВЪ” in Cyrillic for Ignatiy Sazikov, St. Petersburg assay mark, assay master’s initials ”П.К” dated 1874, 84 silver standard, and kokoshnik mark.
