A GERMAN PORCELAIN GILT PRESENTATION CUP AND SAUCER, DATED 1827 - The cup of slightly flared form with loop handle, richly gilt to the interior and rim, the exterior decorated with gilt vine and foliate garlands enclosing a German inscription, the saucer en suite with conforming decoration and central gilt medallion inscribed ”den 26: July 1827.”; the undersides with underglaze blue factory numerals.
