A LOT OF TWELVE FABERGÉ SILVER FLATWARE, RUSSIA, CIRCA 1900 - Comprising twelve pieces of silver flatware by Fabergé. The lot includes six table forks and six table knives. Each fork has a tapering handle terminating in a rounded terminal with molded scroll and foliate ornament characteristic of Fabergé table services produced at the turn of the twentieth century. The knives fitted with steel blades and matching silver handles decorated en suite with the forks, the handles with cast acanthus ornament at the shoulders and stylized floral elements along the stems. Each piece is marked on the reverse with Russian Imperial silver hallmarks, including the 84 zolotnik standard and Fabergé maker’s mark, together with the assay mark for St. Petersburg. Total weight: 40.4 o., (1140 g.) Dimensions: Knife L: 10 7/16 in., (26.4 cm.) Conditions: Overall good antique condition. Minor surface wear, light scratches, and small areas of discoloration to the steel blades consistent with age and use. The silver handles with light handling wear and minor tarnish.
