A GERMAN PAUL SCHEURICH ART DECO WHITE PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A MODERN LADY, NYMPHENBURG, CIRCA 1930 - White glazed porcelain figure depicting a standing modern lady modeled in the interwar Art Deco idiom with elongated proportions a subtly tilted head and stylized facial features. The figure is dressed in contemporary fashion with a fitted bodice belted at the waist and a long flaring skirt articulated with gently flowing planes. The figure stands on an angular integral base and is executed in blanc de blanc porcelain. The support is impressed with the Nymphenburg mark. Dimensions: H: 8 3/4 in., (22.2 cm.)
