AN ART DECO-STYLE CELLULOID CLUTCH DECORATED WITH RHINESTONES, USA, 1920 - An American early 20th century clutch bag composed of celluloid rendered in an unusual ovoid shape with alternating black and cream colored vertical lines and rounded finials set with rhinestones. The interior has a fabric pouch rimmed with two parallel lines of florets. The bag hangs from a twine handle. United States of America, circa 1920s. Dimensions: H (without rope): 6 1/4 in., (16 cm.) Conditions: Very good for age. Hinge functions well, slightly loose when open. Fabric pouch still present, with some fraying as seen in images provided. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
