A LARGE RUSSIAN SAZIKOV GILT-SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH IN THE PAN-SLAVIC STYLE - A large Russian silver kovsh by the Sazikov firm of Moscow, rendered in the pan-slavic style and decorated with intricate polychrome enamel in geometric patterns throughout. The handle of the piece is of a very unusual three-dimensional form with pierced sections and molded decoration, in addition to lines of red cabochons. Hallmarks: Eagle for the Imperial Warrant, Sazikov maker's mark, 'A.A' assayer's mark over 1889 date, 84 silver proof, St George Moscow mark. Weight: 31.33 o. (880 gr.)
