A LOT OF TWO MEERSCHAUM TOBACCO PIPES, GERMANY, 19TH CENTURY - A pair of finely crafted white meerschaum tobacco pipes with large decorative bowls appearing as Ottoman Turkish men in traditional headdresses. The long stem of each pipe is also of meerschaum, decorated with floral-like shapes in a succession of rings, with one pipe ending in an amber mouthpiece. Germany, 19th century. Dimensions: L: 15 in., (38 cm.) Conditions: Excellent condition for age and medium with only minor surface wear. One pipe without its mouthpiece. Please make all inquiries before bidding.
