AN ORDER OF ST. STANISLAUS, 3RD CLASS, IN GILT-SILVER, FRANCE, CA. 1910 - Imperial Order of St. Stanislaus in gilt-silver and enamels, 3rd Class. French manufacture, circa 1910, as commonly produced by Parisian makers such as Arthus-Bertrand for private purchase or émigré commissions following the 1831 incorporation of the order into the Russian Imperial system. The execution of the guilloché enamel and construction of the suspension ring are characteristic of early 20th century French workmanship. Dimensions: 2 1/2 x 1 5/8 in., (6.5 x 4.2 cm.)
