A GERMAN VETERANS ASSOCIATION ENAMELED MEMBERSHIP BADGE, CIRCA 1920S–1930S - Silvered metal and enamel membership badge of oval form depicting a steel combat helmet above a green heraldic shield charged with a rampant silver lion. The reverse fitted with a vertical pinback and stamped ”J. Schwertner, Eggenberg b. Graz.” Produced for a German veterans' or regional patriotic association during the interwar period. Dimensions: 1 x 3/4 in., (2.5 x 2 cm.) Conditions: Good overall condition with moderate wear to the silvered finish and scattered oxidation. Enamel generally well preserved with minor surface wear.
