A GERMAN CRIMEA SHIELD (KRIMSCHILD) COMMEMORATIVE PLAQUE - Bronze-toned metal campaign shield depicting the Crimean Peninsula, inscribed ”KRIM” beneath a national eagle and wreath enclosing a swastika, dated ”1941–1942.” Mounted on a shaped black felt backing. The reverse retains remnants of its original paper and adhesive mounting. Dimensions: 3 x 2 3/8 in., (7.6 x 6 cm.)
