A WW2 TYROLEAN MERAN STANDSCHUTZEN SLEEVE PATCH, C. 1940S - A WW2 Tyrolean Standschutzen (militia) sleeve patch for the city of Meran in the North of Italy. WW2 examples shows the eagle holding a stylized swastika, indicating their allegiance to the Nazi regime during the war, with the Standschutzen being admitted to the Volksturm by 1945.
