A HUNGARIAN FIRST WORLD WAR COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL, C. 1929 - A WW1 commemorative medal first issued in 1929 by the Kingdom of Hungary under Miklós Horthy. The medal was designed by Kisfaludi Stróbl Zsigmond. The obverse shows the Stahlhelm along with the text 'Pro Deo et Patria' (For God and Country) as well as the dates '1914-1918'. The reverse shows the coat of arms of Hungary emblazoned on a shield over two crossed swords, all surrounded by a wreath of laurel and oak leaves. Hungary, c. 1929. Dimensions: D: 1 1/2 in., (4 cm.)
