AN 1894 20 KORONA FRANZ JOSEPH I COIN IN GOLD, AUSTRIA-HUNGARY - An Austro-Hungarian Empire 20 Korona coin in Gold, produced in 1894 during the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I, displaying him in full regalia on the front, with the reverse showing his coat of arms. The lettering on the coin reads 'Ferencz József I Kegyelméből Ausztriai Császár és Magyar-, Horvát-, Szlavon-, Dalmátországok Apostoli Királya' meaning 'Francis Joseph I, By His Grace, Emperor of Austria and Apostolic King of Hungary, Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia'. Franz Joseph I was the penultimate monarch of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which would dissolve soon after his death as a result of World War 1.
