Táncsics originally planned a periodical-like series, but it failed at the time. Following this edition, the authorities started proceedings against the author, so he hid on Count Kázmér Batthyány’s Slavonic estate in Brod. He was captured in March 1847 and then convicted. On 15 March 1848, the citizens of Pest freed him from the castle prison in Buda. Contemporary half cloth. Szüry: 4461.
