This letter from Alexander II to his mistress, Princess Ekaterina Dolgorukova, is a love letter in which Alexander expresses his love, which is clearly shared: they can no longer stay away from each other, they have seen each other the day before, they had an affair, they can no longer stay away from each other... Alexander II can only think of their new encounter. ‘I am yours before God... May God not abandon us and may he hear» our prayers / Yes, it is sweet love each other..!’ (translated from Russian)
