Bidder registration

In pursuance to the anti-money laundering regulations in force, Hermitage Fine Art is required to hold two forms of identification for all our clients. All clients are therefore required to provide proof of their identity (a photocopy of passport, national identity card) plus proof of their residential address in the form of a bank statement or utility bill (maximum 3 months old.) For Companies, we will require company details including evidence of incorporation, directors and the ultimate beneficial owners.

Individual bidders

Companies

o Evidence of incorporation (certificate from the official relevant register of a company)

ADDITIONAL NOTE FOR ONLINE PLATFORM BIDDERS

For bidders participating via online platforms, the ultimate client’s name and identification details must be provided prior to the sale.

*The name of the account holder must match the name of the registered bidder. The account, which the bidder intends to use to pay in case of a winning bid, must be declared at the time of registration. If the bidder intends to pay for the item from an account held by the third person, the third person must be identified accordingly.
