Sefer Ben Yishai ('Ben Jischai') - 'Will teach in the simplest way possible a method to calculate times', in Hebrew and Italian on facing folio pages, by Rabbi Yehuda Shalom Yenaisi (Leon Pace Ginesi) of Trieste, published by Anton Strauss in Vienna, 1827; 1x title page + 143 folio pages (288 pages in total). Includes bilingual explanation of the method over 28 folio pages, then a chart of moon-based time measurements for 160 years (until 1981), and then from folio page 115 a chapter with 14 charts and explanations to establish the times of the festivals of the year. With approbations by: Rabbi Avraham Eliezer Halevi (1759-1825; Av Beis Din of Trieste), Rabbi Abraham ben Ezriel Reggio (1755–1846; a Posek & Rabbi of Gorizia), Rabbi Eliyahu Aharon Lattes of Venice. The binding is detached and there are some worming holes, specifically on the first pages, however the pages in total are mostly pristine; back page missing a corner + spill mark.
