Israeli 1948 War of Independence era children's education book: Melilot - Chapters for the Instructor of the Lower Grades, published by Head Leadership of Gordonia-Macabbi HaTzair, Nissan (April) 1948, 66 mimeographed pages + cover. Edited by Shulamit P. with artistic design by the artist Arieh Allweil; the booklet covers the Passover holiday period and includes contemporary texts by the period cultural and political Zionist figures - Bialik, Katzenelson, Frishman etc., religious and cultural customs, songs, and references the ongoing "war of liberation" as well as past historical events.
