Obverse: annual dates for Sundays of each month; Jewish year '5565' & holiday dates below. Reverse: table with operating times of Hamburg castle gates. Medal was commissioned by Hamburg coin dealer, Jobst Schramm . The inclusion of Jewish dates and holidays highlights the importance of the local Jewish merchant community of the time .
