Roman Phoenicia/Berytus Claudius AE small flan ancient coin; Fine, RPC I 4546 - Roman Provincial coinage > Phoenicia > Berytus > Claudius, 41-54 AD: AE (21 x 22mm, 11.8g); bare head facing left / Claudius, as founder, plowing at right with two oxen & letters AVG in exergue - legends are missing on obverse & reverse largely because the flan is 2-3mm smaller than the normal issue.
