Grandfather clock, English, c. 1800 - Grandfather clock, English, c. 1800, mahogany, curved head, base with indicated pelmet, sides with grooved columns, bases and capitals with residual gilding, with gilding on ornamental parts, head slightly cracked, set off in front of the dial with reddish veneer and gilded pearl cords, gilded dial with black Arabic numerals. Dial with black arab. numerals, display of seconds at 12 o'clock and date at 6 o'clock, birds engraved in the lower part, movement with massive hook escapement and hour strike on bell, starts, h. 203cm, w. 57cm, d. 26cm
