A shallow enamel cloisonné bowl with a lapis lazuli blue ground, China, Qing dynasty, c. 1900, the bellied sides with indented rim, inside a large yellow dragon with a frontal violet face mask and green mane, on the outer wall two five-clawed dragons, yellow dragons with colourful face masks, chasing a pearl over stylised waves, towards the mouth an ornamental band of cloud bows, stylised cloud patterns as continuous background motif, larger cloud patterns on the turquoise blue vessel bottom, h. 6 cm, max. d. 21 cm
