Cross of Merit I. Class Brunswick, Ducal Brunswick Order of Henry the Lion, silver gilt, wreath green enamelled, on ribbon, awarded until 1918. h. cross without ring 3.6 cm. With a paper bag ''Herzogliches Braunschweigisches Kriegs-Verdienstkreuz II. Klasse'' with handwritten owner's name ''Günther Book'', small tears, creased and rubbed 8cm x 7.6 cm. Together with a medal Austria/Hungary ''Pro Deo et Patria 1914 - 1918'' on triangular ribbon, h. with ribbon 8 cm, in small contemporary box.
